Yeah, but sometimes you need hands-on shopping, I went with a mate of mine, she wanted to buy a basque (the undies thing, not a Spanish guy) and they were very helpfull and showed her loads of stuff.

Been a couple of times (not for a while though) the staff are really friendly and helpful - some other stores could learn a thing or two from them.

I love pulse and cocktails, but then I'm just twisted! ;)

dead embarrasing buying toys when there isn't a female with you though, you know the glint in their eye and all, you can tell, YOU CAN TELL!! :D

P&C are very professional, much better than any other store brand, I have been to, and have visited all 3 in sheffield.

Its funny to intimidate people by the video section. Stand next to someone and see how nervous they get!! muh ha ha!! :)

I've been in loads of times. In fact, I have male friends who are too embarrassed to go in so ask me to get them stuff! I just don't see the big deal to be honest, it's just a shop. What is funny though is the looks on the male customers faces when there is a woman in the shop! 9 times out of 10 they look really embarrassed especially if they have to ask for something. Where as me, I just don't care!

I went to attercliffe yesterday (and wil be today) and there were so many sleazy looking sex shops. At least 3. All looked dodgy.

one of my mates went in before we went clubbing for some ''room odouriser'' (liquid gold) and they asked him if he wanted any gloves with his purchase, i couldnt stop laughing.

I went in with my girlfriend (who was hesitant) to buy a Xmas present last year and I was astonished at how nice and knowledgable (not in a devious way!) the staff were. Was a bit embarrassing at first but we were so surprised by the great service. Altho I must agree they are on the pricey side.

I'm not disputing the service is good, but the stuff they sale is really mainstream and pretty expensive. There are loads of companies that do nicer and more exciting stuff than what they sell there. Sheffield is just limited.

It's Amyl Nitrate, a heart stimulant, it makes your heart beat faster and you feel a bit dizzy, you are supposed to just have it opened in the room, but lots of people snif it direct from the bottle, which is VERY dangerous, though it does make sex a lot more, erm, physical.

Think amyl nitrate has been illegal for a while - the stuff you can legally buy as "aromas" ie. poppers are mostly 'butyl' nitrate or similar. They just give you a rush for a couple of minutes and relax you, pretty harmless I think unless you sniff loads of 'em and they give you a headache. Seem to be popular in places like Blackpool where they sell them on the sea-front :)

ill have to pay a visit to this shop has anyone got directions, i hope its not as seedy as the adult shop on divison street :o

its poppers, ie a drug that increases your hertbeat to the point where you head feels like its going to pop. I assume it works on adreneline or something but not sure?? clubbers use it and many couple, especially gay men (so I'm informed) use it at the point of orgasm. personally I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole an I'm quite open minded about this stuff. poppers are BAD news.
