I have had an email saying I have won a shopping spree in Tescos they just need my zip code etc.

Seems a long way to go for a supermarket shopping spree. :hihi:

There's one on Ko Samui in Thailand so it wouldn't suprise me if there's a few in America.
They're taking over the world, but yes, its a long way to go for your weekly shop.

The email was spam, bin it.. You haven't won anything.

I get emails all the time offering freebies and other crap from Tesco, the annoying thing is, I actually shop there and use their online DVD and game rental service.

Yes, but it's branded and named very differently, can't remember what though...

I've never heard of Fresh n Easy.

I believe Tesco is like our 'Super Wal-Marts'

Its in California and is not called 'Tescos'. It is indeed called 'Fresh and Esy' and is probably unlike any Tescos store in the UK.

That's why I haven't heard of it. I live in the East Coast :P

I used to live on the East coast too and this gave me an insight into why the US is a graveyard for British retailers, i.e. there is so much competition already. Tescos know this very well, which is why they have expanded abroad in a big way in many places, but have only dipped a tentative toe into the US market (favouring a niche market approach in California).

I've never see a Tescos in the USA in the 43 years I've been here but there is a branch of Tesco called Fresh N'Easy which has opened stores in southern California

Seen Tescos in China though.
