I believe Tesco is like our 'Super Wal-Marts' Its in California and is not called 'Tescos'. It is indeed called 'Fresh and Esy' and is probably unlike any Tescos store in the UK. I live in the East Coast :P I used to live on the East coast too and this gave me an insight into why the US is a graveyard for British retailers, i.e. there is so much competition already. Tescos know this very well, which is why they have expanded abroad in a big way in many places, but have only dipped a tentative toe into the US market (favouring a niche market approach in California).
