Hockey are an American new wave band from Portland, Oregon.

The band comprise of singer Benjamin Grubin, guitarist Brian White, bassist Jeremy Reynolds and drummer Anthony Stassi, and have been compared in their sound to bands such as The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem.

They released home-made EP Mind Chaos in 2008 which attracted attention from the likes of Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, with the band are now signed to Capitol Records in the US and Virgin Records in the UK.

It has been announced that they will play at the 2009 T in the Park festival in Scotland, the 2009 Bonnaroo Festival, and the 2009 Hove Festival in Norway. The band's debut single Too Fake was released in the UK on March 16. The band will release Learn To Lose on June 1 ahead of their debut album Mind Chaos, which follows later in the year.
