i know this may well seem a very wierd question everyone, but i shall try and explain briefly.

I send registration form and postal order off around 5 weeks ago, still never had my pack through so thought i'd call them yesterday and they said that they have never had. Not good, (don't know what or who's fault, royal mail or marathon organisers)

Basically i'm now a very gutted chappy as i've worked so hard for this marathon and have raised lots of money for a very worthy charity.

The charity is the paul hunter foundation.

They've told me that i can't do another entry at this late stage as they've reached the limit

So then people please please, if anyone has a race number but is no longer running it i think the number can be transfered to my name.

I thank you all in advance for any help you can give me in my hour of desperate need.

Hi Legends, i dont know if this happens every year but demand for places has clearly way oustripped supply. Ive been posting on the SF for the past week or so hoping that someone will have decided not to run but any offers of spaces have been snapped up by others.

the field has definately grown, in size compared to previous years.

Thank you for getting back to me and tellin me that. I can but hope. Such an important charity i'm tryin to raise money for.

Legends, If you are running for charity and you already have raised some money for your charity then i'll pass you a place if I manage to get one. Can't say fairer than that!
