Will anyone be attending Hirsty's Bar (http://www.swfc.co.uk/page/News/0,,10304~1622925,00.html) on the 28th April?

or did anyone go to the previous 2.

Well worth the £10.

ok, so it seems I won't be working on the 28th so I will be able to finally check it all out.
Hirsty, John Pearson, the chairman and some other big wig wil be on the panel.

I don't know anyone who is into the football or th Owls in particular - does anyone want to come along with me?

Sad but true! :)

One day, one of our teams might do it....one day...

Even as a Wednesday fan, I'd pay to go to Bramall Lane to see teams like madrid!

While that is true, I have no problem supporting any English team in European competitions. It's good for the Premier League if one of them does win it, hopefully both Sheffield teams will be back there one day.

I've experienced Hirsty as an after dinner speaker before, he was alright, brilliant compared to his co-host Chris Waddle. Waddle was possibly the most boring man I've ever heard talk.

Waddle boring, I take it you have never heard Gordon Taylor or Trevor Brooking then-sleeping tablets not required when those two start

Sorry, I should probably clarify that a bit, I didn't mean monotonous in tone, Waddle simply couldn't make any of his stories interesting. Everyone was praying for him to finish, but really boring tales about his mullet and releasing a pop single received (what seemed like) hours of explanation.

I wouldn't say Gordon Taylor is interesting to listen too, but he has some stories to tell at least. Probably we best we don't mention Brooking too loudly in this section. :)

huh? whats that?
I've only just stopped calling the game 'soccer'

and I started supporting Wednesday becasue they gave me a job.

People seem to think that because I work at the ground, I know a lot about the club, the sport, te ins, outs, politics and complete history of the game in general.

Figured Hirsty's bar would be a good place to start (I'm not working so I can actually go into the room and listen)
