hi im just wondering what people think of the following flms as im intending to buy them.

1) SIN CITY
2) MAX PAYNE

Sin City was an absolute classic for me. Great characters and engaging, complicated plot, lots of totty for both the boys and the girls, and some wonderful lines and memorable scenes.

I think it had mixed reviews - some critics thought it was too "soul-less" - but for what it is meant to be, which is a stylish comic book adaptation, it's absolutely wonderful. Get it. I'm going to, as soon as I can raise five or six English pounds or however much it is at the moment.

(I haven't watched Max Payne).

Sin City is great, not seen Max Payne.

Max payne is crap....story didnt make much sense, but then I have never seen the game its based on..

Sin City is a great adaptation of the comic book that it originated from. The look of the film is fantastic, with lots of silouettes and black & white imagery, and the tales are pulp in style. Definitely worth getting.

Max Payne was dreadful! The game had a fantastic movie-styled storyline to it, but the filmmakers decided to ignore this and instead turned in a bland film with Wahlberg in his worst role to date.
