A relative has a truly magnificent acer - Japanese Maple - bush in his garden.
In late summer and autumn, it's so red it actually appears to be on fire, especially when the sun's directly on it....it's absolutely stunning.
Finally managed to get a cutting today.....your advice welcome!
Rooting powder?
Compost?
Chance of success?
All info gratefully received...thanks in advance.
