I've got an LG K500i... I got it New Years Eve. Its worked fairly ok since then, no major issues until about 2 weeks ago, it just kept switching itself off for no reason at all. And then it just totally slows down what it's doing, like opening a text message can take a good couple of minutes. Has anyone else had experience of this and if so... how did you resolve it?

Cheers

you could repair it by taking it to a local phone repair shop were i think it would be the problem of flashing but im not sure if i am right or not it a 50 50 chance but it would cost £10 to fix it at any shop roughly

Try a full factory reset somewhere in the settings options. You'll probably lose everything in your phones memory so make sure you have all your contacts backed up on sim!

It sounds like the LG firmware has crapped out somewhere along the line.

By the way, are you sure its an LG K500i? and not an LG KP500, or a Sony Ericsson K500i, as I can't find any reference to an "LG K500i" and LG don't usually use the "i"
