My Ickle Kitti bootle who is 8.5 months old is due in for her spaying in two weeks.
Anyway today I didnt realise she had escaped for about half an hour - 45 mins.
Anyway since she came in she has been more vocal than usual, is there a chance she got caught.
As far as i am aware she hasnt been in heat yet.
should i take her for the injection - if so anyone know most inepensive place,
Help much appreciated....

It sounds like she is starting to come into season, be best to try and keep her in until her spay now.
If she's come back by herself then it's unlikely that she was actually out whilst in season, although it does sound like she's coming in to season. Usually if they're out because they're in season they're gone for 3-5 days and come back looking like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards and not eaten for the whole time. They usually have a very sore looking vulva if it's directly afterwards- toms have barbed penises and aren't known for being gentle!
If she's already booked in for being spayed then I wouldn't worry too much, but please do keep her in if she's in season and keep a watch on her nipples just in case the unlikely happened and she was caught by a tom. At 2 weeks the vets would still spay her, but they may choose to do a midline spay rather than a side incision, although at only 2 weeks' gestation her uterus wouldn't be that big. The vets would spay at anything up to 5 or 6 weeks, so that really shouldn't be an issue.
