Hi everyone!
Does anyone know anything about the shooting on Lowedges, i've just been told about it? I got told it happened on Thursday during the day but on the star website it says Monday night at 9.45pm. It happened opposite the Grennel Mower pub and shots were fired at the door whilst a young couple were at home. I got told a gun had gone off inside the house on Thursday after they burst in, so either its happened twice or the rumours are circulating. Can't understand why its not been posted on here already, maybe it has and i'm just been doolally lol!
Anyway does anyone know anything? Was it like an armed robbery gone wrong or is it drugs related? No speculation please, i only want to know the truth. Oh and Lowedges jokes aren't welcome thanks.

All that I can tell u was that there was indeed a shooting there.

The first I knew about it on the Monday evening was wen I heard the Kier tradesman hammering a wooden panel over the front door (this was because I had my head phones on at the time and thought nothing of hearing bangin noises - thought it was the comunal door being banged to).

As for the reason? Well, my opinion is that it was almost certainly drugs related by which I am 98% certain.

Anyway I have nothing whatsoever to do with drugs or the couple your referrin to. Other than that I mind my own business which in Lowedges is the wise thing to do.

Thanks for letting me know, Lowedges seems to be getting even more worse for drugs now, pretty sad really, just can't escape them anywhere.

I also agree, Lowedges is getting horrible. I also hate the idiots that think its sensible to ride moterbikes around the park at high speed when you walking your dog. Gurr.

Thank you for someone mentioning this!! The kids who ride the motorbikes around Lowedges are becoming a pain in the backside!!

It is becoming a daily occurence where they are hanging around the front of our house in a gang and riding about on the bloody thing.

Is there anything anyone can do to stop them?

It was worse during the school holidays and has quietened down now but that isn't the point.

It isnt just the fact that they are only young kids averaging the ages of around 11 years old, it is the attitudes and the behaviour of these children too. Stone throwing around peoples homes and cars are a nuisance too.

Does anyone know who these kids parents are?! I would love to inform them (if they care that is?) what their beloved children are up to, before they go home from school one day with the police on their doorstep and an ASBO on the way.

It seems that the council are dumping the dregs of society on Lowedges these days and they have hordes of screaming, uncontrolable brats whose sole aim is to do as much damage and vandalism as possible.
