hello thinking of moving from jordanthorpe to the kimberworth park area of rotherham just need to know what the area is like in general and is it close to sheffield city centre and does it have good transport link's to sheffield as i do not drive so i will have to catch the bus.if you have any more info will you please contact me.

the area round there, im not round there enuff to know really, but theres bus services to sheffield. my dad lives there but the area he lives in has loads of yobs and idiots,but its a nice place

Hi. I live in Kimberworth- near West Hill and I think it is really nice. Where I live i can get the 7 to meadowhall which takes about 10 minutes and from mhall either the tram or x78- i usually get a bus at 8.15 from kimberworth, then get the x78 from mhall to sheffield and am usually at my desk in centre of sheff by 8.55 or 9am! You can also get the 85/86 from meadowhall to ecclesall road/hunters bar and fulwood areas of sheffield.
Kimberworth park isnt so nice- it has gone down hill in recent years-lots of kids on street corners etc.
Kimberworth itself though is very nice- fairly quite but some alright pubs for the weekend.
why have you decided on Kimberworth Park just out of interest??

Kimberworth is a nice area.
Not perfect, but it *is* Rotherham after all!

I believe Kimberworth Park is a little step down though.

Transport to and from Kimberworth park is alright.
Just be sure to visit the area at night as well to see what kind or characters lurk the streets.

the yorkshire terrier service 72b runs through kimberworth to sheffield city centre kimberworth is a nice area but avoid it's neibours kimberworth park,meadowbank and richmond park.
