Hi!

I am currently conducting reaserch regarding the character and qualities of the Cultural Industries Quarter in Sheffield for my university degree.

I would be very interested to hear the views and opinions of people who work or live in this area, or who use facilities in the area regularly.

What do you like or dislike about the area, what are your favourite aspects of using this place? what do you think about regeneration that has already taken place in the CIQ, and what would you like to see change in the future?

I would be particulalry be interested to hear about any problems faced by people who run businesses or are self-employed working this area (any line of business!), what could be provided in the future to help small businesses, and what qualities of the area might be under threat if regeneration gathers pace?

I would welcome any comments and discussion - having read many threads on this forum, many contributors seem to hold quite strong views about regeneration in and around the town centre!

Cheers,

Robert

I started working there a few weeks ago in one of the buildings. As I'm a newbie there I'm not sure if my contribution will help but may be able to put you in touch with others who can.

When I had offices in the Science Park, the folks running it would allow people to drop off questionnaires and such in the mailboxes of the offices there.

Perhaps you could try this at the Workstation, SIF offices, etc.?

Good Luck!

I work in the Technology Parks on Arundel Street behind the ex-NCPM. Feel free to drop some questionnaires into reception and they can be circulated around our clients. Otherwise contact the CIQ Agency at the workstation (but I guess you probably already new that!)
