I'd love to have a group of people who are like-minded. From different areas of life but with the same life view.
my dream would be to own a company where the staff had free rain to come up with anything that would be a step forward (art, inovation, invention etc)

That's MY idea! Actually, I've always fancied (seriously) setting up some sort of think tank / philanthropic outfit along the lines of Essalen(sp) in the US but with more emphasis on creating useful solutions and products for real world problems.
It would be based in a country house or farm with outbuildings and lecture rooms, workshops, 'chill out' rooms, computers and would be multi-disciplinary - apart from a core staff of practical people and admin folks, people would be invited to come along for a 'season' - sort of like the Princeton Advanced Studies or the Santa Fe Institute works in the US, but again probably more 'down to earth'. Assistive technology, appropriate technology, ecological housing, 'small is beautiful' type aid projects...that sort of thing.
I reckon I'd need about GBP 10 million to kick this baby off and keep it running for a few years. So if anyone knows some millionaires, or has a property that's begging to be used for good works, let me know... ;)
