Looking for any one who remembers the burngreave area during the early 60's. What was it like? who do you remember?.

it would realy depend on what you caall the "early sixties" as most of it was redeveloped then We move there in 1964 when all the new maisonettes were being built and lots of the area had been demolished to make way. I was still there in the same house until 1973 so what time span are you looking for

I was thinking more on how people for instance lived in "rooms" or bedsits on or around Burngreave road. My parents started off that way. I would also like to hear from "Afro-Caribbean people" and how they found their ealy years in the area.

Ah I see . Sorry not my field i donīt remember meeting anyone living in a bedsit or such in the area

Hi again GJ' im sure you have some good or even bad memories. I dont mean to limit the subject.
