Just read a letter in look local from a stocksbridge resident.
Quite rightly annoyed at regular blame being imposed on Sheffield City Council, for the state of decline here in Stocksbridge.
He or she goes on to say that people who insist it was better here prior to the sheffield city Council take over back in 74, could have opposed the takeover then.
Lots of other valid points are brought up in this letter, im not sure if its a forum members letter or not but i feel sad that in this letter this young person states that Quote "we are often made to feel ashamed of the tag which is associated with Stocksbridge and all the ridicule associated with the town, because of the decline and neglect
(just look at some of the postings on Sheffield Forum.)"
If anyones got the look local today then please take time to read this letter.
