This is my attempt at butterfly lighting - I've got into a bit of a rut with the 45 degree stuff. It was taken in a hairdressers shop, the light source was a couple of halogen downlighters about 1.5metres above her head.

Yes, I like the definition of her face. bringing it out of the background.

Yup - the butterfly is there alright and the modelling on the face looks good. I've got a bit of a question mark over the colour balance - have you got a some cooler light (daylight?) coming in from the right? And if anything I'd have cropped tighter on the right - horizontally the face is between the 1/3 point and the middle. But when all said and done - yup - she does it for me! :D

Everything looks good to me, pose, expression, soft focus and lighting, apart from the choice of background. You have got her against a split background which is a little distracting. The blue works fine as a background but her hair blends into the black on the RHS instead of enhancing her hair as the blue does on the LHS.
