I have got a cat flap for my cats. We are due to have the decent homes done soon and wondered if any one knows what the council are going to do with existing cat flaps.

In Rotherham they regarded them as vandalism to rented property and charged you for the door, that was 15 years ago though so they might have changed their minds...

Sadly, this is still true!!! although my parents neighbours have no intention of moving so they just went ahead and fitted one anyway!

Thanks for your comments, I am awaiting a phone call from the council to discuss this. As my cats will be almost 7 years old by the time the decent homes gets round to doing my home I really don't want to have to stop them going in and out as they have always been able to be independent.
