I have got a cat flap for my cats. We are due to have the decent homes done soon and wondered if any one knows what the council are going to do with existing cat flaps.

In Rotherham they regarded them as vandalism to rented property and charged you for the door, that was 15 years ago though so they might have changed their minds... Dana 07-04-2009, 13:24 Hopefully times have changed. c&rmicheli 07-04-2009, 15:31 In Rotherham they regarded them as vandalism to rented property and charged you for the door, that was 15 years ago though so they might have changed their minds... Sorry to be the bearer of bad new's, well mine is anyway and i'm with a housing accosiation but its still part of the decent homes project. I enq about having one fitted, but the housing said no! angnjosh 07-04-2009, 19:23 has anyone had a cat flap fitted in their exterior wall and if so roughly how much was it and who do you get to do it ? Dana 08-04-2009, 16:30 Thanks for your comments, I am awaiting a phone call from the council to discuss this. As my cats will be almost 7 years old by the time the decent homes gets round to doing my home I really don't want to have to stop them going in and out as they have always been able to be independent. |
