Why are there so many different coloured Sony memory sticks ie. blue, black, light brown or is it green.

My present 16 mb memory stick is blue so will this one below be ok for my Sony dsc p73 digital camera

theyre all different, some sony peripherals only accept certain memory sticks.

best thing to do is find your product on the sony site and click the compatability section which will list all compatible sticks :)

Or not buy Sony and then you can go with a format that works in many different devices.
