Hello there friends of Sheffield,
Advanced Yoga Workshop
Saturday 25 April 2009
Clifford School, 108 Psalter Lane
2-5 pm
£25 Waged and £20 Unwaged
This workshop has been designed for those students who wish to take their yoga practice a little bit further. The workshop will be strong and dynamic and we will be focusing on three difficult yoga postures (asanas). During the workshop I will break the asanas down into stages so that we can go into them safely. Each stage will work the body and internal organs deeply so if you do not desire to go into the full posture there is no need to. To participate you need to have strong core stability muscles and be in good health (if you are unsure whether you can participate due to a health problem please do speak to me).
You will learn:
(Assisted) shoulder stand, head stand and the wheel;
The body preps you need to do before you go into each one;
How to get into each posture safely;
What props to use to assist you to get into the posture;
A dynamic Dru Power sequence;
Relaxation.
To enable me to give you one to one attention during the workshop spaces will be limited. If you are interested please get in touch with me as soon as you can. This will help me in the planning for the workshop.
Wishing you a very happy and peaceful Easter Break.
With warmest regards,
Jo
