Just got this book and i thought i would let you all know how fab it is. Anyone else seen it? Its adapted from the tv series, which i watched also and thought that was fab!

Not faffy stupid recipees that keep you full for all of about 5 mins, but really good proper meals, i cant wait to start cooking!!!

Yes we have enjoyed eating like kings whilst reading this book..especially enjoyed the stew with red wine.. and the home made beefburgers yummers.. :thumbsup:

Ah, ive seen the burgers, was quite tempted with them because i really dont like buying shop bought burgers because these days you just never know whats in them!

I can see that recipee being tried out in the not too distant future!! Thanks!

We have the Burgers a lot ...they are without doubt the best burgers in the world.

One thing though I dont put as much mustard in them as he does though but might just be down to personal taste.

Try his simple tomatoe sauce.......ooooohhhhhhh tomatoe sauce

I've done it a time or two and added a bit more parmasan cheese and some butter and left it on the ring to thicken up and ate it with some chunks of bread just like a soup

Yeah, I had a flick through it at the book club thingy at work and there does seem some nice stuff in there, however, I can't afford to buy it.. so ill keep flicking through it until I memorise the recipe I like the look of the best!...actually I could just copy it out couldn't I... no more than 10% obv!!

Yes Cooking in Prison ..an amazing idea.. although I think Alan Partridge owns the rights to that one!! Jamie 'pukka' Oliver will have to come up with something else to keep his family in Prada.
