If any of the regulars fancy organising a walk for Sunday 12th April please feel free to discuss it in here if you want, cos at the moment there's nothing arranged for that day.
I'm not available that Sunday, but I will however be organising a walk for Good Friday if anybody's interested. Of course if everybody's happy just to leave it with just the Good Friday one and have a Sunday off for once then fair enough.
Just thought I'd let everybody know in plenty of time why I wouldn't be posting anything.

If the weather is decent I was thinking if anyone is up for a walk I would love to do one, somewhere easy to get to by bus. And if the weather is rubbish we could all go to the pub. Let me know.

I am around Easter weekend - back from study in London and before we go on our hols on Easter Monday. I am happy to sort a walk out if you want me to - I would need to be back home for teatime though for obvious reasons.

Hi Eclair
just the mention of Rivelin as made me turn to drink, last Wednesday I went for a walk around there and had quite an exspensive accident. Because of pride I won't put all the facts on an open forum, but if anyone saw me I'm sure they are still laughing or they may have had an accident through the laughter.

There will be a separate thread for this one, as scoobz is organising this, we are also trying to keep easter sunday a local one as well.

I think myself and Rivelin6 are planning a lazy day together for this day...however your idea of a walk up Rivelin Valley is a good one as people can do a short/medium/long walk depending on what they want, plus there is a cafe/breakfast stop at the beginning and a couple of pubs up at the top of Wyming Brook for lunch.

Its a walk the group has done a few times, like this one (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=344492&highlight=wyming+brook), and can always be extended to cover Redmires if people want.

OK To add to the confusion of this thread, my plans have changed, I have spoken with bambi girl and we are meeting at hillsborough at 11am. We are then just going to take a walk up through rivelin valley, and see where the mood takes us. If anyone would care to join us then more the merrier.
You are welcome to meet us either at the bus stop on malin bridge (hillsborough corner) or at rivelin valley cafe at about 11.30amish.
Due to not so good ankle and my plans for this weekend changing there is no real set route, apart from through rivelyn, however it is a lovely walk through rivelyn and beyond.

Sorry I couldn't join you on this Eclair and Bambigirl, I was busy laying a new garden path and generallty making our garden more friendly for my nephew.

Such a shame I had to miss out on a walk led by you two ladies, maybe next time.

Glad to hear that you and bambi sorted a walk. I would have joined you had I not been camping and walking around Birchover. I peeped the pics on facebook and it looked like a pleasant, if not, a longish walk.
