Hi all,

I'm hoping to own ferrets in the future - will be getting my own place in a month or so and am working towards having them in a few months.

I was wondering if there was anyone in Sheffield who owns ferrets who would be willing to talk to me about them and allow me to meet and handle them? I would like to know what I'm doing before I have some of my own. Especially since I would like to take on rescue ferrets so may have problems to deal with from them!

Prefereably in or near Ringinglow/Bents Green/Eccleshall area or easy to get to on bus from town centre as I don't drive.

I hope someone can help :-)

Hi. PM Jediwarrior. Him and the missus run a ferret rescue based at Firvale. They really know their stuff and am sure they would be happy to help you out.

Also check out their forum. Lots of good advise.

Good luck. They really know their stuff and the ferrets are all well looked after and socialised.
