seen this add on gumtree can anybody on here help a cat shouldent have to live in a box

Poor cat, that is the second cat left behind when the owners moved that we have heard about in the last few days, cat dumping time and kitten season is here!!
What would you bet that once they get settled in their new home that they will be off getting a new kitten? :mad:

yes i know what you mean i would love to home him temporarily just to get him out of a box but i cant my new dog isent to good with cats she dosent hurt them but scared the life out of them barking and chasing people buy them becouse then want to, but it should be a privelage to own an animal not a right

It is a privilege to live with an animal and have its love and trust that is a wonderful thing, and that makes it all the worse when that animal is betrayed in such a way from my point of view :mad:

Lotti made a good point though on the other left behind cat thread, that the cat might have not been left but got out and returned home, are you able to reply to the ad mummysaz21 and ask them to get the cat scanned to look for a chip?

Great let us know what happens and fingers crossed, at least the weather has improved loads thats a good thing in his favour, he will be ok for a while so long as its not really cold and wet.

my only worry is wat box is he in does he have food and water and can he move in it i know she is tryign to confine the cat but is it not more humane to just let the cat stroll around and catch it agaon when needed as she obiously got it beforex

I would have thought that he is just using the box as a bed not confined in it...but who knows, the person advertising sounds very decent I'm sure that they are feeding and taking care of him, thats why he stays in their garden I should think.

yeah-i get the impression he is just sleepin in the box, hence her not wanting him inside as he an outdoor cat. I dont think he confined to it.
