Has anyone seen the Vagina Monologues at Sheffield's Lyceum ?

I saw it at the Lyceum last year, but not with Caprice in it....

I didn't reckon much to it, truth be known.

I've seen the one with Caprice. It's quite funny, but she's the weakest of the three performers. Su Pollard is just her normal su-pollard-y self, and the other woman (Ellen ??) is very good.

What about a version entitled 'The Penis Monologues'?

I wonder what the monologue would consist of?

I asked mine this morning, and all it would say was 'Yes please!'.

I can't see this monologue stretching to a two hour show though.

Due to the obviously refined and delicate sensibilities of a certain poster, I have submitted my original post to Dr. Bowdler and in accordance with his magisterial advice have amended it accordingly.

The male equivalent is The Penis ( the male organ in case the mods blank it) Puppeteers. They were in Sheffield fairly recently.

I have seen to Virgina Monologues with many different actors and have the book. I do think however, it owes much to Alan Bennet's 'Talking Heads'

I hope to see this one and Sue Pollard again. What would Miss Cathcart say?

I went to see Vagina Monologues tonight and I found it really funny. My mum and her friend were crying with laughter!

I think it has to be your sort of thing to find it good.

I would recomend it!

I thought all three were good but found Sue Pollard the best!

It is hilarious! I saw Jenny Eclair and Miriam Margoyles do it, brilliant and men will find it funny too.

havent seen it but read the book and thought it was garbage. John Shuttleworth was much funnier this week
