Yesterday in the South Korean city of Incheon, a couple was arrested for the death of their four month old daughter. The cause of death? World of Warcraft.

According to Korean authorities, the couple left the baby alone for hours while playing World of Warcraft at an internet cafe. "We booked the pair on criminal charges, judging that when you consider the situation, they were responsible for their daughter's death," said a policeman as quoted by the Chosun Ilbo newspaper.

As the couple told authorities, "We were thinking of playing for just an hour or two and returning home like usual, but the game took longer that day."

That's happened in oz with people in casinos, but children did'nt die . Car park attendants spotted them and broke car windows got them out and called ambulance. There have been three or four cases of this in Sydney.

I haven't been on the forum for very long and I find it addictive but not to the point I'd evade any responsibilities, If these people can't feel guilty about neglecting their children because they're in the grip of an addiction then why aren't we sending out messages and teaching them that this is totally unacceptable, by any means or media available?
