hi

Just wondering if anyone knows the best way to hassle parcelFARCE? I ordered some items from a store 2 weeks ago, they were waiting for a delivery from a supplier and sent my items to me 24hr parcelfarce delivery on monday...

so, I didnt have much to do y/day except pack my stuff for Manchester so stayed in all day waiting... no delivery... get a little peeved...

needed to go shopping today really, but isn't urgent so finished off my packing and chilled infront of TV... gets to about 3pm so I contact the company and get the tracking number for the parcel...

go on parcelfarce web-site, go to tracking... oh wait it was out for delivery yesterday morning at 6am... ok so its now about 38hrs since that truck left their depot in Rotherham and it still isn't here...

go onto their contacts section, no telephone number only an online equiry thing... fill it out, sit and wait patientyl... 1hr later, a reply... wahooo... oh wait, its automated!

"Unfortunately we currently have a backlog of email enquiries which unfortunately means you will experience a delay in our reply. We are monitoring this backlog on a daily basis and anticipate answering your enquiry in 2-3 working days, we therefore ask for your patience during this time"

so fine, their supposedly amazing 24hr service sucks, their customer support sucks... I leave Sheffield Sunday... when am I going to get my parcel!?

cant find a telephone number on their site, so if anyone can tell me how I can ring them up and scream at them I'd gladly apprechiate it! :D thank you, rant over!

is your parcel at a depot that is in the area? If so do what we did once after getting no where and go to the depot and hassle. We got our goodies and saved them a trip out! So they were really happy. And we were just plain glad to get our goods.

Might this be of any use?:

"How do I contact you?

If you have read the frequently asked questions and still need help, please contact us on one of the following numbers:

Royal Mail 0845 77 40 740
Parcelforce Worldwide 08708 50 11 50"

Hope it is

(by the way here (http://www.parcelforce.com/gear/content/html/sharedPopup.jsp?keyname=trt_help&catId=7500082#5800110) is the link to where I found that.)

according to a map its about a 13 mile journey to the depot... dont see why I should clock up 26 miles on my mums car and her petrol to pick up a parcel that they haven't even attempted to deliver yet...

their site says if they dont make a delivery attempt in time they'll refund a proportion of the delivery costs... but who'd get the money? I didnt post it so can I claim? and still... how can I complain when they're taking 2 or 3 days to reply to emails? :?

well it's sorted now hopefully...

just rang parcelfarce, and had a 26 minute long call :? 23 of which was waiting!

first got some idiot who said he was putting me on hold whilst he rang my local depot, then suddenly a woman answers and I'm like "umm what happened to the guy that put me on hold?" and she's like "what guy? I've just answered this call cus it was ringing"

the idiot had put me through to my local depot which they're not supposed to do...

anyways, apperently the guy who does my area has been in hospital and the agency people they'd got in weren't delivering fast enough... it SHOULD be delivered today :D

oh and, got the number for the Rotherham East Depot if anyone ever needs it cus its quicker and direct and obviously cheaper!

its: 01709 780702 :D

 Thanks ever so much for that direct number, I called, demanded the supervisor and .
My parcel should have reached me 6 weeks ago. For 3 weeks I know it has been on one of their vans that got stolen and still the sender tells me that the post office says I received it! And now, after numerous emails and calls with x minutes on hold I finally spoke to the right person. If I don't get a replacement for my parcel (the goods were worth over 200 pounds) within a week :suspect: , I shall call there every day! :hihi:
