Hiya folks. I know this isn't the wanted section of the forum but i feel some of you may not see my ad on there.

I am wanting a DSLR for my better half. She has been patiently waiting for years and her skill deserves it.
I would love to get her a better DSLR than the ones available in this price range, hence me asking here.

You folks know your stuff. If you have anything that would make her day please PM me or reply here.

Thank you.

I would suggest you give some idea of how much you have to spend, you may get something better for the amount you have to spend. Have you take the cost of a lens into account?

Also remember a DSLR is a very complex instrument, if you buy S/H privately you risk something failing and potentially a very expensive repair bill.

Try Harrison's. My brother got a Canon 350D from there - second hand, but with a full twelve month warranty and a load of accessories.

Or how about a "bridge" camera? A nice step up from the compacts before you delve into DSLRs?

Thanks for the replies :)

We have been in to Harrisons a couple of times over the last few weeks. There is nothing in there for her.
The budget is going up to £350 max. Any camera would need to come with at least one lens. Something like the kit lens that comes with many new cameras now.
