I might be moving to Nether Edge/Abbeydale Rd soon (it's off Abbeydale Rd, near Sheldon Rd) and would really appreciate some quick advice on the following:

-where are the nearest supermarkets and other essentials eg late night grocers (I have a car but would like to know about places that are very close!)

-what's the car insurance like, I'll have to change it from Broomhill where I live at the moment

-any info/advice on crime - anything to be particularly concerned about?

It seems a really good catch as it's very close to the nice bit of Nether Edge even though it's on the main road. But I haven't lived in that area before and would like to find out what other people's experience was/is of living there!

Big 24 hour Tesco's on Abbeydale Road should suit your Supermarket needs.

There's not much else they don't sell as well besides grub.

There's a jacksons just up sheldon road, i think it shuts at 11pm though.

I just moved away from there ( not by choice ) but the area seemed ok to me.
