foxforcefive 26-03-2009, 09:32 I was really looking forward to being able to attend this month's party on the second Monday of the month.
NOW YOU'VE GONE AND CHANGED IT :rant::rant::rant:
and I can't make it :(
Agent Orange 26-03-2009, 09:44 I might toodle down the hill and show myself (not literally, of course). Anyhow, I suspect this will be on the evening after a heavy camping session and just in time for some belated birthday celebrations

Flippin' heck! Sorry to hear that...I changed it this month because I thought people might be otherwise engaged on Easter Monday. :)
I'm quite open to the idea of a smaller meet on the 13th as well if there's enough interest.

Can't see many people being free on the 13th when it clashes with the big Tranmere Rovers vs Hereford Utd game. For that reason, I'd stick with the 6th if I were you.
I'll be there, as per usual :D

As will I, old Chap, as will I!
I'll see the attendance list before making an informed judgement :D
haddockman 26-03-2009, 11:51 Doubt we'll make it down this time, going away to the Lakes for a few days the next day, so could do with packing a few things and not abandoning the cats for another evening!
SpiderPete 26-03-2009, 12:34 So far, unless I am knocked down by a bus, I will the there :)

erm, if you are travelling from netheredge then it would be best to get a bus from there into bus station, and from there get the 53 which will drop you off opposite the pub.
i remember you, i think :suspect:

Yeah, I was kicking myself for not getting the question about Zorro given how many times I've seen Mask of Zorro :loopy:
And the Wacky Races one! :loopy: :loopy:
Rashspateen 30-03-2009, 18:53 And the last two questions of the night... "What letter of the alphabet does the hero Zorro leave behind on his victims ??"
And the last question "Who was the winner of the Whacky Racers ???? Do tell Rich... we need to know.

Yeah yeah OK, I feel daft enough as it is that I didn't get those 2! :loopy:
Dependent on how much money I spend at the weekend I'll be down to this one. It's downright rude when I can catch my bus home just across the road not to really.
Ms_Demeanour 31-03-2009, 07:52 I'll come along to this one as it's 'newby friendly'. Sounds like I'm going to be the only new face there though, scary :o I may have to drag a friend along with me.

I was gutted to miss it actually, quite enjoy the quiz, no matter how pants I am, having said that, I could have answered questions on Zorro and Wacky Races no problemo.
Anyway, in a last minute change of events, it's possible I might be able to turn up, we'll see.
I'm a bit skint, but hopefully can scrape enough pennies to pop down for a half. :)

Good evening.... and morning, been eons since I crawled in at this time!
Don't blame me, it was Joe's idea to carry on after the harlequin. He just insisted on it, even though no one else wanted to carry on!! :hihi::hihi:
Swami Dhyan 07-04-2009, 09:06 OMG...:o...my head!
Can't remember getting home and my son has just showed me the photos he took of me fast asleep in the dog's basket. :hihi: Suffice it to say the dog did not look best pleased.
Thanks everybody for another "craicing" evening.
Special word of thanks too to the staff at the Harlequin...marvellous as always!

Agent Orange 07-04-2009, 09:42 Erm, my head seems to be somewhere else. I think the hangover has finally caught up on me. Oh well, it was a good night and I don't know who convinced me to go to the Washy afterwards. Keeping me up past my bedtime is a no no usually :D
Sounds like I did well to leave when I did - hope none of you stop outs have work today!
I'm not quite a newbie, but was good to meet you all. Very enjoyable and was good to put more faces to peoples names (sounds strange that way round).
I might even make an appearance at the next one (AO read: you should organise one in the city centre!).
Also cheers to Scozzie for the lift & drink.
pinklilbean 07-04-2009, 11:29 Nice to meet everyone :) Hopefully be out again soon!
(And thank you Zebra for the cream egg  and EdnaKrabappe for the lift!)
Yeah ta for the creme egg,!
And thanks to the person who bought me a half! That was really good of you :)
A huge thank you to Zebra.
My son (Ash) has just come round with a box of creme eggs given to him by her at last night's meet.
He just happened to mention that I collect for a women and children's refuge charity and am currently collecting Easter eggs for the children.
Thanks once again, I'm really grateful, as they will be too!
Chris
EdnaKrabappe 07-04-2009, 15:55 yeah good night and thanks to Zebra for the creme eggs - yum!
