July see's Moist launching their first weekend night's at the HUBs on Friday 1st July and Saturday 9th July 2005 following on from the success of their monthly Thursday night escapades.

Music is pretty good, split between two glittery spanglefilled rooms pumping out much more of a mix of contempory dance & pop, camp classics and funky house than CLIMAX courtesy of JANETPLAYSTAPES.

Plenty of cheap drink offers from the 2 bars, it is a students Union after all!

B4 11pm it's £4. After it's £4.50 NUS & £5.50 FULL.

EVERYONE is welcome not just the GAYS, even local people, lol!:thumbsup:

VERONICAPLAYSTAPES is a night on at the lounge every wednesday fantastic resident djs, good friends of mine-the cherrybomber (from the cherry bombs), amy dutronc and chadtoddbruce. they will be playing in the main room at moist I believe, I shall be there and would be great to see you all get your sexy bums on the dance floor!! Remember, you dont have to be gay, just openminded ;)

Sky... I love the venue (memories of Poptastic, eh?), but it was just SO empty. There must have been about 50 people rattling around the massive building.

I was SO wanting it to be good, because although I go to Climax month in, month out, I'm not overly keen, the music is WAY too cheesy for me.

We were trying to work out why it was so empty, and just came to the conclusion that it's because the students have gone home. I'll maybe give it a try in September (if it hasn't already finished by then through lack of interest).

im off there on saturday, (not tonight, next saturday) as its like a birthday night, so should be a lot busier, ts a shame cos the musics great, just needs more publicity.

Mimi, is it Moist next Saturday (ooops that sounds a bit rude...), or a different night at HUBS?

Do you really think it'll be any busier? I'm dubious that it will be until the students come back. But I might go if you can persuade me that there'll be more people there.....?

yeh iuts this saturday coming up, Im hoping it will be busier, dont see why not, but ill enjoy it anyway cos ill know a few people there :) give it a go will be good!
