A freind has sent me some video on a non finalised DVD+R disk....it says EMPTY on all my DVD players and on the PC. Is there ANY way to finalise a disk recorded on an unknown DVD recorder, or to rip the files and create a new disk which can be closed and played in any machine?

I have an NEC burner and a PAN E50 DVD recorder (does not recognize +R disks anyway) but the NEC usually does when they are finalised. IS there any way of getting this data off the disk in its unfinalised state?

I've used a program called CDRoller for doing this with CD's, not sure if it will work on a DVD, but I would have thought it would.

I'm sure quite a few burning software allow you to finalise discs... Nero? Record Now Max? i'm sure one of those would do it... dunno, my DVD's always finalise straight away :?
