I had a Samsung E700. It was very good, if not a little small.
I wouldn't advise getting ANY Motorola phones, their menus are awful and the predictive text is total arse! I would liken them to a French car, everything is their, just in the wrong place!
Go for the Nokia, always a safe choice well only until 1 day after the warranty runs out :suspect:
crazybabe 29-06-2005, 15:09 Thanks guys for all ur help, think i'll take ur advice an opt for the nokia, have always had nokias really, just didnt know what the rest would be like.
Berberis 29-06-2005, 15:48 Most operators have a returns policy where by if you dont like the phone you can return it within something like 7-14 days for a different model.
id agree but..........
i had the 6230 last year and sold it. its nokia so the menus are the same et cetera et cetera.
however i got the SE K750i on a £15 a month contract, its a great phone, 2 mega pixel camera which look great, ask if you wanna see one, mp3 play back memory stick duo up to 2gb.
i would get this above the 6230
I agree that the Sony Ericsson phones are a better bet. The Nokia 6230 (not to be confused with the 6230i) has a glitch in the software, which means if you take it abroad, when you return, you are unable to receive calls.
The phone thinks that all incoming calls are 'data' calls; the person ringing you gets the message that the number being called is unavailable (the can't leave a message or anything).
To get round the issue, you have to restore factory settings, which means you lose anything you have downloaded or personalised to the phone. This issue also affects Nokia 6820's.
But obviously, it's up to you  :D
nokia 6230 out of them 3. but if you want a better camera quality, id go higher than that one out of the nokia's. dont know much about the others
