Does anyone have any memorys of the riding school and people and horses there???????

i took my kids there for 8-10 yr have many memories, can remember the little shop thing they had i think nutella did well there lol, can you remember caprice ?

Yep i remember the horse! strawberry roan colour they got that horse back in 1988 god were does time go !!!!!!!!!!

what about carl ,sundance ,my wife was mad on bronco, my daughter kept her pony there for a while, its sad when you lose part of your past, thought that place would be there for ever

yes i was there many moons ago my first pony i rode he was a black gelding call piper he was lovely but he got ill and had to be put down then i rode lucy what a madam she was. Then i rode sham he was nice i went on the full gallop on him and he went one way and yes i went the other way into bushes Graham call me superman after that. can you remember karen the riding teacher until i got my own horse i spent most days up there and i still see Graham around he never changes.

I used to take my horses to be shod there, and bought my first pony from them, he was a right nutter!

i can't remember a pony called merry legs can't see Graham having one called that but maybe he got silly in his old age must have been watching black beauty :rolleyes:

I remember a bloke named Graham who had horses down Waverly Lane. That's where my daughter started years ago. She went every Sunday and still rides when she can at Clough Farm, Crosspool.

I used to go to a Riding School, near Holmesfield Called "something" Hollow ..Run by June Hill..She married a well Known Solicitor from Chesterfield.. His name was Colin Eagle.
This is 60yrs ago..She had a brother called Tony..HI Tony..I married Shirley Chilton.. Bought a horse called Smokey from her. Smokey was unrideable at first..He was a Rig.. Took us ages to calm him down but he became addicted to my Dads Jam sandwiches and so we finally rode him normally( Well almost)
Does any one remember the days..or the riding School. You must be old then!!

i remember handsworth riding school, i used to ride Ebony. i also remember bronco, billy, carl, pepsi, polo...those were the good old days
