Is there any outdoor cinemas in sheffield or any events that will have outdoor cinemas etc..

I would love to get one organized. I cant help but think everytime I walk down to the train station from arundal gate, at the back of the Howard Pub there is a big blank white wall and a large grass field...This would be a fantastic place to hold such an event...

and being in close proximity to the Showroom cinema.

Whats everyone's thoughts, is there anyone from the showroom in this forum that could comment.

I would love it, similar to the old american drive ins! But sadly I don't think we have the weather for completely outdoors :(

yeah i know what you mean, I think it would have to be on the odd occasion in the height of summer...

we have had a few good showings in our garden on to the back wall

This would be a brilliant idea, i'd love to watch a film in maybe Hillsbrough park.

I went to one in Spain. It was an enjoyable experience, but all the seats were wooden forms.

People worry about he rain for outdoor showings but in fact you also have to worry about the sun. If you end up with bright sunshine in the direction of the screen you can see nowt!
