An elderly woman had a lucky escape when she drove her car through the front window of a house in Sheffield.
The accident happened on Millmount Road in the Meersbrook area of the city on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters had to anchor the car to a nearby lamp post before the driver could take her foot off the brake and get out of the vehicle.
The people inside the house were in another room when the accident happened and nobody was seriously injured.
The driver was not injured but was taken to hospital suffering from shock.
