Having watched Ti a Rade on Britains got No Talent can I ask "Why is it that only gay people think that such crass entertainment is worthy of a night out?" To say that the act was pathetic is an understatement that only the heterosexual community can understand it seems...

Please please please let me assure you that there is a large proportion of Sheffield gay people who have no desire to experience Tia's, erm "talents":confused:, and in no way think it makes a worthy night out. Red Room put on a night once a month called Speed Queen which it geared towards the G/L/B community, and they make a good job of that imo.....Whatever they were thinking with booking Tia for the event on the 5th, I really have no idea. Some claim that Tia has "fans" and gay people who enjoy his/her "entertainment", however after seven years on Sheffield scene I so far have only met two, and I still don't understand why they think there is any talent here :loopy:

Sheffield gay people do seem to be getting laughed at somewhat at the moment, once gay people from other cities become aware one is from Sheffield, it usually goes along the lines of "Oh from where that Tia-Anna off BGT is from!?" and then they descend into fits of laughter and comments such as "God is Sheffield scene really that awful?"...It is becoming somewhat embarrassing. You was one of the two people I mentioned that seem to like Tia, but I didn't feel it was appropriate to name you as such......Although if speaking to you in person, your "support" and appreciation of Tias "undoubtedly talented performances", sometimes seems very much different to what you say on here ;)

Which performances are these ?, can you point us in the right direction ?, the only ones we seem to see are her "beyond rubbish" ones.

I agree with AndyB666, Tiannna is becoming rather an embarrasing Sheffield drag queen, and we are laughing at her, hence why he isn`t performing on stage at Sheffield Gay Pride, and doubt he ever will, and why I dont feature him on my website either, and does not perform at any gay venue either, his claim to fame at the moment is s spot at the "Moorfoot Tavern".

Maybe you should start a campaign to show us the wonderful performances he does.

So if another of Sheffield's drag queens came on this forum, started the "X Discussion Thread" (where X is the name of the drag queen), and that person was allowed to promote their nights in that thread, would it be allowed to stay? Can a Mod come in and answer that question please without deleting this comment or arrogantly saying "contact the Helpdesk", or I will be directly messaging Geoff in the morning.

Everyone is allowed a thread to promote their events provided they aren't prohibited by our family friendly rules- that's the whole point of the Going Out section. This thread is in place so that Tyranna (and whatever fans she has) are aware that they can't post information on other threads. That's the only difference between this and other acts.

SHAME ON YOU Rikki tikki and others for being so PREJUDICED AND PHOBIC to someone such as me who is actually quite agood act and has made HUGE sacrifices to pursue my drag career. the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of people in Sheffield and elsewhere, straight and gay thoroughly enjoy my act, and it is only a TINY minority of you (all gay people, incidentally, you should be so ashamed) who have the JEALOUSY AND THE NERVE to condemn me just because I try so hard and at last am tasting success...

Names and addresses of the worst culprits above will be shortly searched out and stiff lawyers' letters will be on their way...


BTW, Admins, thanks for trying out the experiment of creating a 'Tyranna' thread which has simply descended into a mud-slinging.

As I myself am the artiste whom the thread is about, would you admins please DELETE THIS THREAD AND ALL ITS CONTENTS IN THE SHORTEST TIME POSSIBLE, as I WILL be taking steps through my professional management to have LEGAL ACTION taken against Sheffield Forum if any such offensive comments about me remain up on the Forum.

I am happy to post as a private individual on the Forum, as I am involved in lots of events and issues (eg the Railway station footbridge and potholes on roads) and more often than not engage in non-drag related discussions.

1. People are entitled to their opinion of your act - there is nothing libelous about them saying they think your act is crap. You may not agree - many others out there would.

2. This thread was started as there were so many complaints about your constant spamming and self promotion across multiple threads.

You have a simple choice - either use this thread alone for advertising and accept the fact that people are entitled to their own opinions or agree not to use the forum for advertising your act at all.

From now on any other advert you place will be removed and if you persist in the spamming and promotion your account will be removed.

Once you have made your mind up as to whether to run this thread or not PM me and I'll either re-open it or remove it depending upon your decision.
