SilentStatic 28-06-2005, 22:15 This storm's shaping up nicely - the lightning's almost directly overhead now :D trentboy2 28-06-2005, 22:18 Shouldn't we all be switching off our computers around about now, my girlfriend just threw a wobbly because I'm being stubburn and keping my computer on. trentboy2 28-06-2005, 22:21 Thats it i just heard a massive rumble (it shook the house) I'm loggin off, till later P andyb 28-06-2005, 22:32 Seems to be passing us by, here in the last outpost (S36) but there is a good light show andyb SilentStatic 28-06-2005, 22:33 Mine's running through an electrical surge protector type thingy - think other people should consider it though  robbie 28-06-2005, 22:49 in my post football shorts and t-shirt I got very soaked...:( Henrietta 28-06-2005, 22:52 Heh I left my sunroof open! Yes, there was plenty rain... :P Sifuweb 28-06-2005, 23:22 Just drove back down the A61 about an hour ago from High Green Way and the lightening bolts were incredible. They werent overhead but seemed to be everywhere. They were flashing over city, then over to the left, to the right and from behind. But heard no thunder. The roads were appaulingly flooded too out past Grenoside. And I still had some nutter rear-ending me to get me to hurry up even though the grip was almost non-existent. Strix 28-06-2005, 23:42 Weed killer suitably washed in  kblade 29-06-2005, 01:34 Yes quite a good light show there though not much in the noise stakes. A few loud bangs but it seemed much more electrical and for once I felt the tension in my head that Vidster gets so the pressure must've got through my bonce tonight :D Doggie didn't like it mind, thought she was going to try digging for Aus at one point! :( kblade 29-06-2005, 01:37 Originally posted by Strix Weed killer suitably washed in  The turf that was laid yesterday on our front, and watered today upon starting to curl is now very very watered! :D H.P 29-06-2005, 06:35 Cant belive it ... decided to have an early night and missed the lot boo.. :( Greybeard 29-06-2005, 10:19 We're up in the clouds this morning....can only just see the front garden wall. Nice and cool though :) Enjoyed the show last night though it was mostly cloud lightning, - not much hitting the ground.
