hi does anyone know how I can make a data cd for music I know how to make a music cd to play on a stero. but i want to put my music files on a cd to store then in case my pc goes wrong any advice would be great thanks:thumbsup:

in nero ..................when you select new you get a list down the left........ie:-data / iso, audio, vcd, cd copy etc etc

to burn to audio to play on stereos you select audio
to burn as normal mp3 / wma etc files select the first option data / iso, drag across to the left and drop as you would audio etc and clcik burn, sorted...........1 cd full of mp3s or whatever files that works for all files too, videos, pics, music, exes, pdfs, dlls the lot

And no you can't do it with Windows alone.

i NEVER use windows to do jobs if i can use a standalone app to do it .....works a 1000 times better

Yes, you can do it with Windows XP.
Other software may be better but if you need to, put a writeable CD in the CD Writer and copy the files across using Windows Explorer via "My Computer".
