Im due to visit the blue ball & the wharncliffe arms...anybody been/ has any opinions on them?

The big question is...do they do hand pulled bitters?

I lived in Wharncliffe sid efor 22 years and i would strongly recommend that any sane person stay away, it's full of tractor driving idiots, oh and the local idiot called Pope John.

That's not wharncliffe side. My mum used to work there 17 years ago and it was a nice place but I haven't been in this century!

There is another blue ball at worrall. I didnt end of going in last night...I carried on to Deepcar!!!

King & Miller.........disappointing

Royal Oak....good stuff, good pub, handpulled beer and weird bottled beers

couldnt work out why it was dead...or am I missing something???

Blue Ball is just a chain pub, the Wharncliffe Arms situated just as you pass into WS used to be really good but they've changed hands a few times since. The last time I was in tho' they did have real ale!
