I went not long after it opened and the pitta was one of those crappy little ones you get in a pack of 5 from Morrisons! I never went back. I still think the London Road Kebab house opposite the Broadfield pub is the best, large chicken Kebab with lots of Salad. Mmmmmmm :) Angilaruk 24-03-2009, 13:14 Kebab World at Broomhill do some cracking kebabs, and deliver too. We do like Popeyes too though, especially their wedges ..... more like spicy roast potatos lol Fantomas 24-03-2009, 13:20 Elifs, Ecclesall Road. I live there and don't know it? My vote goes for elifs- proper kebabs and non of this 'meat shavings' crap. also a fan of theirs. the chicken / kofta mix is very good. their chicken marinade with that yoghurt-y sauce is unique in flavour and addictive! on occasion the kofta had been known to be a tooth shattering experience with gristle but worth the risk imo. salad under the greaseproof is also a nice touch. :P Tess 25-03-2009, 08:31 Elifs, Ecclesall Road. End of debate! Ooo I agree!! scottf 25-03-2009, 10:18 its at the side of manzil balti house, near the south sea. try opening your eyes next time you walk through broomhill Well my sincerest apologies to you for not knowing the location of one shop in broom hill. i will try harder next time. moron. shabba 25-03-2009, 10:32 yes to that Ok do you know if they use halal meat? will have to check it out then, but i doubt it can be better than just halal kebabs as they have been around for years and thats what they specialise in.. I've eaten there before and enjoyed it, but it was a few years back. The memory ain't so good anymore. endoftheroad 14-06-2010, 12:34 "Shahi Kebabs" on Spital Hill just before the East House on the left hand side as you go up the hill. Now usually I don't like kebabs, I find them a bit greasy and the site of them makes me want to have a heart attack. However, I've obviously been going to the wrong place :P I popped in Kebab World on the way home from work and was going to order a pizza until I saw another customers kebab order! it was real good grilled meat. I've had fantastic meals from Turkey and it just reminded me of it. I changed my order to a kebab and its safe to say I will be going back to get another this week, it was yummy. ClaireTrudy 18-07-2010, 22:04 My Vote's is a joint one between Pizza Go Go and Chubby's near John Lewis. bungleboy69 19-07-2010, 21:17 Elif do the best veggie kebab in Sheffield Farslad 20-07-2010, 09:45 Elif do the best veggie kebab in Sheffield Now there's an oxymoron. nimmy 20-07-2010, 10:16 Debate Over Prime Pizza they have got it all BigJezLad 20-07-2010, 20:49 Definately Elif for me. rayrayy0 20-07-2010, 21:00 Shahi Kebabs" on Spital Hill ,is the place to go if you want a doner kebab, its open till late, and its made in a open kitchen.doesnt upset ya belly,as long as you dont have it too spicy. libertarian 20-07-2010, 22:29 Until six months or so ago would definitely have agreed with Kebab World Broomhill. The meat from there is still to die for, but something seems to have gone drastically wrong with the bread it is served in. Now it just becomes a soggy, greasy, appalling mess. It never used to  |
