Do they make their own pitta breads yet? I went not long after it opened and the pitta was one of those crappy little ones you get in a pack of 5 from Morrisons! I never went back.

I still think the London Road Kebab house opposite the Broadfield pub is the best, large chicken Kebab with lots of Salad.

Mmmmmmm

Kebab World at Broomhill do some cracking kebabs, and deliver too.

We do like Popeyes too though, especially their wedges ..... more like spicy roast potatos lol

also a fan of theirs. the chicken / kofta mix is very good. their chicken marinade with that yoghurt-y sauce is unique in flavour and addictive! on occasion the kofta had been known to be a tooth shattering experience with gristle but worth the risk imo. salad under the greaseproof is also a nice touch. :P

Ok do you know if they use halal meat? will have to check it out then, but i doubt it can be better than just halal kebabs as they have been around for years and thats what they specialise in..

Do they do take away? What kind of kebabs are they? I've eaten there before and enjoyed it, but it was a few years back. The memory ain't so good anymore.

"Shahi Kebabs" on Spital Hill just before the East House on the left hand side as you go up the hill. It's used by all the taxi drivers - good recommendation - the Shish is delicious!

I just went to Kebab world in Broomhill. Now usually I don't like kebabs, I find them a bit greasy and the site of them makes me want to have a heart attack. However, I've obviously been going to the wrong place :P I popped in Kebab World on the way home from work and was going to order a pizza until I saw another customers kebab order! it was real good grilled meat. I've had fantastic meals from Turkey and it just reminded me of it. I changed my order to a kebab and its safe to say I will be going back to get another this week, it was yummy.

Until six months or so ago would definitely have agreed with Kebab World Broomhill. The meat from there is still to die for, but something seems to have gone drastically wrong with the bread it is served in. Now it just becomes a soggy, greasy, appalling mess. It never used to
