Who here is single?
Is it a modern myth that people who partake in the chat room life style are all singletons or is the chat room gaining greater acceptance now the majority of us have access to the internet.
Personally I think their in a growing acceptance of chat room frienship circles and speed dating than there was 7-8 years ago.
Are we becoming a nation of network relationships as opposed to nuclear relationships. The majority of the people I know don't actually live in Sheffield. I did two degree course at Uni only to loose all the people I knew when we went our seperate ways. I still have friends here from work and home, but my friendship circle is nationwide. Does this have implication for the disintergration of the local community spirit. I would argue it does.
