Posting on behalf of my hubbie!

He has a MK 2 Jaguar with automatic steering and needs to centralise the steering and adjust the tracking. He has not got the tools to do this - any ideas where he can take it and preferably be involved in doing it.
Cheers:thumbsup:

I have seen race cars being aligned with a fishing line and a steel ruler (+ any spanners you need to adjust the tracking rods). If its of any interest i will find a tutorial for you.

I'd pop down the hillside to Hawleys on Holme Lane. They did a comprehensive job on setting up my Lotus Elan

This is basically it, same measuring procedure for any car:

The bit thats different is what and where you adjust, different cars have different suspension setups and different ways of adjusting it - but its not rocket science!
