So... my shop is getting fuller and I'm struggling a little more for space now - rearranging things is working so far but I figure sooner or later I'm going to need a bit more shelving.

I don't know which way it's going to go yet and really don't want to spend a lot on shelving/display and until now have got some second hand stuff from closing down sales etc.

Does anyone know of any little shelving units going? Perhaps somewhere that's closed down? I don't need much at the moment but could do with a little bit more space...

Ta!

Isn't there some furniture shops next door to you, could you come to some arrangement with them perhaps, I know it's not display shelving, but it is somewhat homely?

To be honest rarebit, none of my shelving is proper shop stuff! LOL!

I have some second hand industrial shelving because it was free and I bought some lovely glass shelving units from pier when they closed down and it looks far better than slatwall and generic shelving imo...

I was going to browse some furniture shop stuff and see what they'd got going cheap so I may well go for it!

there's an office furniture shop further up the road on the block before lowes the wallpaper place, which may have something suitable

Go to the local school or kids groups and give them some chicken mesh and paper mache stuff and tell them to form you something up, oh, do you want to come to my shop to buy something for your pet, oh yes, hey you could bring your doggy and we'll teach it how to do some tricks to impress your friends. And people call my cynical!

There was a card shop in hillsborough that had closed down with shelves still in it with for sale signs a couple of weeks ago not sure if they still are..

Thanks, will consider Ikea! and thanks Holza...

So far I've managed to fit everything on (nearly) so I'm going to leave it as long as possible but these things are worth taking note of!
