can anyone help ,i was using my dad's tomtom, turned it off (was working when turned off) then when i came to use it again the green light on the top came on but not the screen, so i thought i would put it on charge (think i left it on too long) as now the green light won't even come on ,would be greatful if anyone can help or know where i can get it fixed cheap before dad wants to use it again,thanks .

Hi, I dont know much about tomtoms to be honest, but my other half is a bit of a geek with them. I have heard him mention loads of time about the green light problem, so it must be quite common. If you do a google search on green light problem tomtom, it will fetch up loads of forums that might help.

Have you tried connecting it to your pc or using the little rest button ?

Yah could've crashed, I use my Phone for TomTom and a PDA, I only assume the dedicated TomTom things have a reset button.
