Showdown events is once again hosting showdown 6 at the octagon centre on sunday 15th march 2009.
There will be SDFs team (Mckenzie - Sykes - Beard and McGovern) competing against a team from Portugal - Scott Sykes challenging for a European Title.
As Well as a full undercard including fighters from The Sheffield Academy of Martial Arts - Legends Gym - and clubs across the Uk
In Total 14 Bouts are on including 2 female bouts.
Doors open 3:00 pm first fight 4:30 - ticket prices £25 or £15 under 16ys
There will be tickets available on the day.

i saw the show but cant rememebr everything. were looking forward to seeing legends gym as theyre thaiboxers but no lcuk there.
The 1st fight was mark frost (sheffield lad) fighting some guy from north west. Not clear what happeend he got sent off for hitting the other guy too hard and dropped him
Then there was a girls fight i know i missed a couple of fights and a girl from team assasin (they were quiet good imo) beat a girl called kate from dragons(i think?).
Mike trueman from studio 2000 a good thaiboxer trained to a good standard at a decent thai gym. He proper smashed this kickboxer in the 1st round that were funny. Then there was an asian kid called dan khan who was dead lanky who looked like a foot taller than jason greenwich. The asian kid won. Then this grimsby lad beat the black lad from sheffield i think he was called tyson and then 2 guys from john fought each other. John won. :P Richard wright got kneed in the face 1st round then joe mcogvern lost on points then shane won on points then Alex bashed the portugese lad in the 3rd (happy days, there you go take that portugal!) and scot sykes got dropped 1st round with overhand right and cudnt get up. I think thats it?

only thing were that i was looking forward to that Zidov fight from the contender. U know wot? He werent even on the show looks like they cancelled it and made us think he were gonna be there. Bit of a rip of if u ask me.

Hi tomyamgoong i had to pull out due to family issues i thought it was made public the fightwasnt going ahead? also thanks for your kind words about our fighter, i was there to work the corner for our 2 fighters only saw the main fights and it was an enjoyable show wish the scott v miguel fight would have last longer
