If they do exist, then why's nobody ever been able to get anything on camera that isn't a fake or just a trick of the light? There's a $1 million prize (http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html) up for grabs if you can prove they exist, and nobody's ever claimed it.

Hmm, the "experts" who reckon it's genuine are TV medium Craig Hamilton-Parker, Nick Thurston, of the UK British Paranormal Association, and UKBPA vice chairman Clint Symonds. Now call me a cynic if you like, but wouldn't they have a vested interest in claiming it's genuine?

No. Don't you think it's ironic that most alleged "Ghost" sightings happen late at night, after the Pubs chuck out? Usually by people who've been at the spirits, so they think they see spirits of the Ghostly kind? :rolleyes:

That is interesting.

I dont think people lie when they say they have seen apparitions and 'ghosts' but I do think its foolish to think the most likely explanation is that the spirits of the dead come back to haunt us.

There are always more rational explanations be it the light, infrasonic waves like in the above link, or just the effects extreme stress, grief or tiredness on the fragile human brain.

In a word: no

Look at Most Haunted (the biggest load of tripe on TV). Multiple series, hundreds and hundreds of hours of footage from "professional" investigations, and not a scrap of irrefutible evidence that ghosts exist.
