may not be a classic yet but in my eye's the punto mk1 gt turbo is not far from going the same way as the uno turbs,many of these cars are now becoming hard to find as the youth of today just smash em up,blow em up or just can't afford to keep em runing. i have owned one for 3 years it's a factory special abarth version,with a little help from a stainless,air filter,chip,givving it 155bhp,and for a 1.4l engine thats not bad,now i have 3,has anyone else on here got one or is interested in them?

dont be like that.ive had the mg midget,mk1 escorts and just get fed up of plowing money and trying to find parts for em,i know the fiats are hated by many but mark my words it will be a classic one day as the numbers drop and values go up,like any other car its supply and demand what makes em classic not just cos its got chrome bumpers and age.and what do you drive?

a huge amount of 70's Celica's, and Talbot Sunbeams....all RWD. early BMW's all RWD (i wont own nothing else)

had a nearly 30 year old vw camper, to me thats not a classic, just a mass produced mobile hippi home..

a punto is a chav car, like a pug etg, those who want to be boy racers, and stick on big exhausts and filters, and not nothing about induction and exhaust flow...thing because it sounds louder its better and faster...

i dont hate fiats, they made some classics, but a punto..no, its a shopping trolly really.

thats odd cos the 1st owner who i bought the car off was 62 years of age,and not a baseball cap in sight,i am way passed the chav stage now and the upgrades on the car make sense as it improves the mpg ect,and all my previous cars xr3,mk1 golf gti mk2 golf gti ah almost forgot the lotus exell were all kept standard and original, i have always said even a as long as its clean and standard it will turn heads,anyhow i think i have got my 5 posts so ill do what i was going to do and put a car up for sale,thanks for helping me build my post's up,cheer's.
