Now you know why I've just changed my bedroom curtains from floor length to windowsill length!

Ah only the other day my neighbours were watching the foster kits swinging from the net curtains while I was out!!

I think if you do find anything most of the reat of us cat owners would love to know what it is!
(I have found the best resort is to buy nets with enough holes in the pattern that a few hundred extra cat claw holes wont matter!!) :)

Oooo Spangles favorite thing is to climb our curtains, floor length or not, she's not fussy! I've lost count how many pulls I've tried to thread back through. :suspect: I've given up now!

I've got long curtains in my living room, the first set I had were a dark brown colour, but with Ruby being a creamy ginger colour I was forever hoovering them or using a lint roller to get her fluff off them! In the end I decided to change and buy cream ones that don't show the fur up!

Thats OK if you are in and you catch them doing it! Spangle goes up when we are out, she's 7 now so obviously never going to get out of the habit of how much fun it is!

We have bought a spray from pets at home called 'pet training spray' it smells like insect repellant and everything we spray it on our cat will not go anywhere near. she used to pull the carpet up outside our bedroom but as soon as we sprayed that on she jumps straight over that section and wont even walk on it. it does stink to start with but the smell eventually goes for us to smell but the fabric/carpet tends to hold onto it so she still wont do it.

:hihi: I remember watching next doors kitten climbing and swinging off her nets and curtains whilst she was out, there was even audible bangs and crashes when he fell off...it was really ever so funny entertained me for ages hehe, I thought it best not to tell her :D

I'm beginning to wonder if I should put a collection tin outside - They are angels when I am in but put on a real show when I am out it seems!!!

:hihi: Ask for donations of kitten food, they are only trying to help out almost the kitten equivalent of busking if you like :D.

Now you know why I've just changed my bedroom curtains from floor length to windowsill length!

In the room I'm typing in we have windowsill length curtains, out oldest cat loves laying in the sunshine on the windowsill. Today the poor love tried to jump up there and failed, miserably but gracefully. So now we've got a curtain with a lovely run in it. Bluddy cats, who'd have 'em?

We bought this as Ruby likes to scratch like mad at the door to the bottom of the stairs and pull the carpet up while we're in bed. The spray worked for quite a few months but now she's becomes immune to it and scratches regardless!
