We called into the Horse and Jockey tonight, for the first time in the evening for the quiz... The quiz was really good, with sandwiches (much better than the roast potatoes at the Hillsborough Hotel), and the owners were really very friendly. The quiz itself was fun, and there was a grand atmosphere in the place...

We've been in for a few drinks since it's re-opened in the early evening, and have really liked the place... We live within walking distance but have started to walk past other pubs to go there...

Just wanted to say that we've had a grand time there and want it to stay open because we've found it the best place around where we live, and hope that others will try it and keep its' doors open!

Ive hear good things about this pub now as yet ive not been in since the new owners have taken over - i hope it does well and im sure it will from what i hear:thumbsup:

Yes, it's certainly changed for the better! There's some live Jazz there as well tomorrow night. They've got one of Sheffield's best sax players, Pete Lyons, playing with Nick Fletcher's quintet. It promises to be really good!
