Can anyone here help me?? I need an accurate translation from somebody who speaks Spanish as I don't trust the translation websites and they seem to give a varied response to what I want translating which is "You'll Never Walk Alone". It's for a tattoo so for obvious reasons I need it to be right :)

I don't, but I've just emailed my mate in Madrid to find out. He speaks spanish and can double check it with an actual spanish person to confirm it. I'll let you know when I get the reply.

usted nunca caminará solamente

Possible?????????? I believe so but get it checked!

Just dont have "amor anal"

or you could get more than you bargain for!

Right, an actual, factual spanish person has confirmed it to be

'nunca andaras solo'

Having said that I think that could mean 'Never walked alone'

Which would mean that 'usted nunca andará sólo' means you'll never walk alone. Right, I'm getting an opinion from another spanish person who is has spoken both english and spanish since birth.

Are you having this tattoo or are you engraving it on someone else? If you get it wrong the former could be more embarassing but the latter more potentially expensive!

OK my fluently bilingual Spanish friend says that 'Nunca Andaras Solo' is 'you'll never walk alone'.

Where as 'Nunca Anduve Solo' is 'never walked alone'

This is from a girl who was born in Spain and brought up speaking both English and Spanish. She moved to England 6 years ago to take English A Level and then an English degree. It's an understatement to say that her spoken and written English makes a laughing stock of mine.

So that's two spanish peeps that have confirmed the same thing. Hope that clears it up for you wibbles.

Tu nunca andaras solo is correct. I double checked with my hubby who is Spanish.

Though the 'tu' means 'you', you can also just say nunca andaras solo as other members have said and its still correct. If you say 'tu' its just emphasising the 'you' a little more. It flows fine without the 'tu'.
